

The Programme Board
What is the Programme Board?
The Programme Board oversees the work of Romsey Future. It's made up of a mix of Councillors ,from Hampshire County Council, Romsey Town Council and Test Valley Borough council and representatives of different sectors and interests like business, young people, faith and infrastructure.
The Board meets regularly to monitor past and ongoing projects, and support new ones.
What have the Programme Board been doing?

UKSPF Awards
In 2024, the Programme Board awarded sums of money to a variety of different community groups under the UK Share Prosperity Fund. Find about more about this here.

Half-term Hangouts
Romsey Future supports ‘Half-term Hangouts’ – events that take place every half-term, to get young people together and give them a space to relax and enjoy some free food and drink.

Footpath and Cycle way Improvements
The Programme Board monitors a number of ongoing projects which centre on improving paths into Romsey, to ensure people can walk, wheel or cycle into the town centre from the newer developments.
